DRIVEN by resistance and romance, Mari Joy is a Chicago-based Filipino actress.

She was born in Manila and recently graduated with a BFA in Acting from BYU. 

Mari Joy has several credits in both theatre and film. Notably, Lark in the premiere of MESTIZA, or MIXED (Plan-B Theatre) and Erica in the short film POOLSIDE INN (Palm Springs Film Festival).

Telling stories through film, theatre, and voice-over is her greatest privilege. In her spare time, you will find her singing, being a hopeless romantic, taking photos, and eating rice.
